Sam Wrigglesworth joined the Mohawk Valley Collective (MVC) as an Intern in May of 2015 while she was living in New York City and has since grown with our organization into her current role as our Communications Manager. Sam is currently based in Oregon, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography from the University of Oregon in 2019. She is an emerging artist, writer and arts administrator having shown work in galleries in the Pacific Northwest, participated in artist residencies across the country, published art criticism, and recently managed an artist residency for two years. At the MVC, Sam did videography and was documenting our Summer Music Series programming which has culminated into a greater role in MVC’s programming and marketing—in addition, Sam has worked with an archivist from the New York Historical Society to document for prosperity and create finding aids for local historic photographs and materials.
