An artist in her own right, former intern Whitney Wei has brought her unique skill set and creative talents to the Mohawk Valley Collective over her two-year association with the non-profit.
The Hallowell, Maine native was an Economic and Social History major at Barnard College. Prior to her involvement with the organization, Whitney worked at a Law Office and also interned for Maine Governor, John Baldacci.
Whitney’s interest in architectural drawing and her aptitude for the visual arts (www.whtnywei.com/) have been of enormous benefit to the Mohawk Valley Collective. Her graphic design work has been featured on MVC event posters, flyers, and collectible glasses and other memorabilia.
Other tasks she’s undertaken for the collective include fundraising, grant writing, the interviewing of potential employment candidates, and some media relations work.
