Meg Madorin holds a BFA in dance from New York University and has worked with New York-based dance companies and organizations, both through artistic and administrative/PR work. Prior to the move to New York City, she grew up in the small and historic mining town of Golden, Colorado. This environment nurtured her deep appreciation for historic preservation. The harmony of her interests in dance and preservation drew her to the Mohawk Valley Collective, with our missions of preserving our historic buildings while creating art havens for our community. Some of her first impressions of our properties were, “[the buildings] feel both empty and yet full of possibility . . . Old buildings like this present our generation’s new frontier for exploration.”
